An error occurs when adding a startup item to the All Users group in StartupPN when running with limited privilages.

Details

When attempting to add a startup item to the All Users startup group in StartupPN running with limited privilages, the following error occurs:

Attempted to preform an unauthorised operation.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Open the StartupPN main window.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Type in a name and path into the provided boxes.
  4. Click on the All Users radio button.
  5. Click OK.
WorkaroundStart Registry Editor, and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. Create a value with the name being the title of the program you want to start at startup, and the value being the path to the program.

Bugs dependant on this one:

When running with limited privilages, StartupPN does not remove an item from the All Users group despite showing that it has.
When running with limited privilages, Shell Manager “Abalone” won’t add or update shells, despite having appeared to.
