Introduction

Hey, welcome to the first version of Lilo & Stitch Go To Japan!

Lilo & Stitch Go To Japan was my second fanfic for Lilo & Stitch, started in September of 2005. Like its cousin Lilo & Stitch's Star Trek, I'm still updating it to give a baseline for the rewrite - in fact, the only reason why it doesn't have 50-something chapters is because I keep running into writer's blocks with it. Yay.

While the idea for this fic was inspired by a previous (unpublished) fanfic that I wrote, I was also somewhat inspired by two of Alohilani's fanfics, Lilo & Stitch goes to Camp Snoopy and The Bad Guy (both since taken down), a fact that is somewhat evident in the first few chapters (for example, a lot of the random humour and Jumba's mispronounciation of places based on possessive objects.) In fact, originally it started off as a first-person fic similar to Camp Snoopy, thus the poorly-formatted first chapter - it was only when I ran into problems in the second chapter that I switched to third person. (I shouldn't overstate how much of an influence these fics had on me, but I'd be lying if I said the answer was "none".)

And, well, that's it, I guess. Thank you for reading!
